What does the C and N stand for?

C Series for Warm Yellow Complexions. 

• Celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, Claire Danes, Salma Hayek, Beyoncé, Eva Mendes, Freida Pinto, Viola Davis. They have either hints of yellow, sallow, peachy, or golden. If you tan easily, most likely you have a warm undertone.

N Series for Cool Neutral Complexions.

• Celebrities such as Anne Hathaway, January Jones, Cara Delevingne, Lucy Liu, Mindy Kaling, Octavia Spencer, Lupita Nyong'o. They have hints of bluish, pink, or a ruddy complexion. Also, for those with no obvious overtones of pink or sallow skin, but rather the skin’s natural color is more evident. If you burn easily, most likely you have a cool undertone.
